Ok for all you experienced mod guys, have any of you taken the stock heat exchangers off the foot-rests and installed them directly under the tunnel like all the newer sleds?
I have a 141 Camoplast track on mine with 8 tooth drivers. (It was done by Hartman Inc.) I was looking under it last night and noticed that I have at lease 2 inches of space between the track and the tunnel.
Is it possible to take the exchangers off and install them under the tunnel?
The reason is I do alot of mountain riding and the footrests fill with snow. So I want to install a custom footrest if at all possible?
So any information will be greatly appreciated.

That does sound like a good idea but I cant really see it working out, the heat exchangers themselves might fit up underneath the tunnel but the connections to the cooling system up front is where you will run into problems. There's not a whole lot of room for modifications of that magnitude on the stock chasis.....good luck.
