Hey guys i need some advice on this!
i read the tread about adjusting the power valves with a battery through the white test point i read it should have 2 wires a black and a red but mine has 3 wires 2 red and 1 black. My problem is i know 1 red wire goes to the cdi the other has continuety to ground i traced it to the smoothing condensor so i disconnected the condensor and the continuety went away i have a sx500 r sled also so i took the smoothing condensor from that sled and try it the same thing too continuety the sled runs but i was was wondering should it be like that? does any 1 has a wiring diagram for the 99 srx?

you dont need to use the test port lower your idle to 900 rpms and servo will set.

when the servo set u have to use the 2.5mm allen wrench to set the space? do you shut the sled down?
yes idle below 900 servo will open ....shut sled down and mark servo pulley and backing plate ....keep marks lined up and adjust gap to 2.5 mm between housing with the 2 allen head bolts ....than you are done
