In the current issue of American Snowmobiler they had a write up about this helix. I'm wondering if any of you tuners/racers (TONY, Turk, Valin etc.) have any experience with these, and if so what can you tell me about them. I know there's plenty of good setups in the Tech section, but I'm curious about this adjustable helix's.

Got one on my 2004 MNT modded Viper. Works great. Fast /easy to dial in.
I bought one; tested it & sold it. The ramps are very skinny & they really bite into the pucks. Also ..#1 rule in clutching is you do not tune rpm,s with the secondary. It,s ok if you can get it close & maybe need 1-200 rpm,s but the negatives outweight the plusses.

I run the straight angle on my 780. But only with the heavy hitter setup, they seem to like a straight angle helix. For trail riding i run Heel clickers and Roller rooster sec 41\37. For drag racing the Shockwave works well! What I like about it is that when conditions change you have some control over how much you load the motor. If it's cold and hard pack conditions I will keep throwing more angle at it until it can't pull any more. Yes tune with the primary. Shockwave just make fine tuning very easy, I like the flexability .
