Hello, new member here. There is tons of great info on this site! My 97 600 twin has been having problems with the temp light since last year. It started to flicker last season, and turned out to be a worn wire. Easy fix. Now this year, it started to come on often when when driving on through town in the alleys, which it never used to. On Saturday it started to blink consistently. One long blink, then 3 shorter ones. The engine isn't getting hot, and there is plenty of new coolant in the system. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

Thanks for the quick reply. I double checked the wiring and found that one of the two wires was corroded next to the plug for the sensor.

Had to take the plug apart and splice the little metal clip into the wire again. Works fine now. Also found that the phenolic roller bushings on the primary were worn/gone, so dad made some new ones while I fixed the coolant plug. Thanks for your help!
