my video

as you can tell there is no snow flap....first ride after the flip and rip. i totaled the sled about two weeks prior to this vid. new front suspension(whole left side), taillight, bumper and 2 hours worth of sledge hammer and hyd. ram to get tunnel strait!!!

i have a nice dyno port can, but its just not that loud. i can't bring my self to put it back on. no matter how much my buddys B!tch about my loud a$$ sled. i love it

Way too loud and irresponsible to ever run anything like that on public land or a trail.Thats the kind of thing that closes trails and gives us all a bad name. How'd you like to have that come by your house at night when you have to get up early the next day?I think not, show some discretion and take it off no matter how cool you think it is.Your buddies are bitching for good reason.

I to love that sound when I had the Sno Stuff Can on my SXR.Really gets peoples attentions, but there are even louder sleds out my way.I ive in rural area,so that noise wasn't to close to many homes..so no complaints at all.A Harley going down the Hwy from my house was louder and disturbing when you have like 10 of them go by at the same time. ;)!

it is too loud. but too cool as well. my buddys bitch cus they can't have that sound on there ditch pickles without spending lots of money on pipes and stingers. its not as loud as you think. i have been stopped by DNR for normal permit checks and drove by DNR "ON THE PIPE" with no problem. i get up and 4:30 am and i live with a women, so i get woke up all the time. no big deal. also i don't rip on it at 2 in the morning. i'm sleeping cus i get up at 4:30 am.

Cool, a little common sense goes along ways with that kind of thing.Don't get me wrong I like a good running triple, but it just seemed really loud in the video, just my opinion though lol

IMO:
The "red head" SXs + SXRs[we have two of them] are some of the best all around sleds out there and they respond to performance improvements better then most.
I love the echo in that Video!!!!

I just traded my can from my red-head triple for a stock can (if someone just recently bought a used can off eBay for $76, plus shipping, that was mine. New owner eBay'd it the day after we traded.)

I love the sound of a triple, but the can I had was just too loud. I let my presence be known through my riding skills, not by a lot of noise. (just like I ride a quiet bike past those noisy Harley's...)

Skill always wins over sound. Does adding a can to a sled make you a "snowmobile poser?"

you people are just OLD. LOUD pipes save lives that what i live by. and i have never herd a yamaha be to loud the only sleds i cant stand are the cats like the ZRTs and thunder cats with cans they are just crazy and sound like crap
