whats the tallest riser i can go on a 01 SX700r befreo having a issue with cables. anyone have a blueprint of the hole pattern and overall dimensions

If you get a longer throttle cable and brake line you can run the 3" with the 2" adapter. Im soon going to be running a 4" with the 2" adapter.

Hey jag bag im 6 foot! And no overkill here I just like tall bars you will see, and stop hyjacking threads!

i was going to go with the 3" uni kit but opted to make my own spacer. I made a few from alum at 1.25 tall and 1 like the tru vert i seen on ebay in the 2" so i will see which will fit me better. originally i was thinking the piviot adapter and 4" riser and some arctic cat strait bars from a fire cat so i can have the hooks built in. if i come accros parts i will still consider it.

I went 3 inches on my 01 SXR I did not have to add cable extensions. I routed the throttle and brake cable over the top of the center of the airbox there is a slot they fit into nicely. I had to reroute a couple of the other cables under not over some of the other stuff but it works well. I am 6 foot and 3 inches is barely enough I still can stand without bending the back quite a bit but it does make it more managable. 5 1/2 with a seat riser would be the deal.

it seams with 2" the cables are plenty tight but i would like to add another inch

I have the 2 inch on mine and had to change the cables as they were to tight, Not sure if the V Max cables are different then your SRX, but I will say that 2 inch made such a difference if you do a lot of standing, if you are just sitting on your butt all day on a hardpacked trail, then stock should be good. Also nice about the 2 inch is the padding still covers it so it still looks factory.

I stand as much as i can but i also added a hook so in stock form it will clip your leg. so with the 2" which i made after the tru vert helps keep the bars forward where a block brings them back

I have a 2" pivot adapter and a 4" riser with just a stock oil cable and mine works perfectly.

I got 3'' on my 1998 vmax sx and the cables arent too much different and it doesnt pull too much on my cables.....my 2 cents
