RODE MY 79 SRX TODAY THAT I BOUGHT NEW 30 YEARS AGO. SLED WAS EXACTLY THE WAY I RACED IT UP TO 1991. STILL FLYS. CARRIES THE SKIES RIGHT ACROSS MY FRONT YARD. MIGHT, AND I MEAN MIGHT VINTAGE ICE RACE IT IN AFEW WEEKS, 3:16 (yammie tony)

The 79 I have really rips compared to my 78 and 80. When I bought it had been use for mostly straight line running. I never ever got into the motor yet to see if any mods have been done. The clutching is spot on.

Pretty dry in central CT, I wish I had some snow on the ground , so my kids and I could blast around our yard.
30 years ago, I was 2!!!!! Just sold the last parts off my 79 SRX, wish it had been in better shape/restorable.
