srx tunnel on sx-r

can anyone tell me if a 2000 srx tunnel will work on a 2000 sx-r? Wife got rear-ended and now I got some major work to do. I would think they are the same, but not sure. also has anyone swapped tunnels before, I'm assuming its pretty time consuming.

I helped a buddy swap a tunnel on an '02 Polaris..... you have some work on your hands, thats for sure. Good luck man!

i swapped the tunnel on my vmax 600 last year, it was pretty easy compared to changing the tunnel on my xcr. it only took about 2 nights and quite a few beers

yes it will , there will be a couple of hang ups though such as running board heat exchanger inlet and outlet will be different size , but you can make that work ...

Good Grief! How hard did she get hit? Hope she's O.K. I've done some straightening from rear collisions but never seen it trash the tunnel.
