Hello to everyone.I got a question.I bought a 96 vmaxx xt 600 last year and got it just about where i want it.Anyhow i put a 3 inch drop on the rear skid and now the suspension is solid and will barely move.Just wondering if i needed to add anything besides the brackets.Thank you for any help in advance.

Did you lower the center mount position also,?? Yuo need to keep the geometry of the mount points the same as stock- just lower.

No not yet but after reading some other post i'm gonna do that tomorrow.I did a 3 inch drop so i got to drop the center an inch and half right.

I will i'm back to the drawing board.I dropped the center an inch and a half and it's still moves about an inch and rock solid. Before the lift everything moved good.I just don't understand it.
Just curious why you would want to drop the suspension? I would kill for an XT skid and the ride height it would provide versus the pre 96 versions.

The link doesn`t work, but if its the same as your avatar it looks awesome. Definitly looks much tougher than the stock ride height. Nice work

Thanks i'm working on getting the other picture up.
Definitly a skid drop is in order for the 95. I hate the low rider stance, from the front it looks killer but a side profile leves something to be desired.
