I had an '01 SRX, bone stock except for Bender clutch kit. Ran 112.6 MPH on ice, speedo said 118. Any radar runs on other Yammy's ?

that is a good number for stock. You may have a chance to pu a few more with fine tuning your clutching and decreasing your rolling resistance.

This has been covered alot, but what the hell.....
127.1 mph was the fastest I ran on a stock motor, at stock ride height, in about 3500'. That was on a Camoplast 9791 trail track, 96 trail studs, clutching, Bender can, some suspension work, 22/37 gearing, revving too high at 8700 rpm, and way into overdrive.
My 780 trail sled has run a best of 128.7 mph in 2000' in a full trail setup on 96 1" studs, with a severe lack of traction.

To bad you had a Bender can on, according to some so called experts, you lost top end mph & hp, you probably would have hit over 130 with the stock can........ excuse my sarcasm, maybe this will prove some wrong.

112 is about right for bone stock, depending on the distance. knowing valin i believe his idea of stock is a bit different than yours.
3x: also add to the " so called experts " can list that overdrive doesn't work.lol.
ryan: if you had read aaen's clutch book you probably would have gone 140 mph.

As for the can, I have never dyno tested with and without it, but I have run multiple back to back runs with and without it, and I have seen no difference in speeds. I don't find you lose any hp, but I have not noticed any hp gains either. They do sound good, that's for damn sure.

Stock? My motor was stock
LOL. 140....For sure, Bob. I think 15% overdrive is enough, don't u? But hey, overdrive doesn't work!

Vinnie, the seat's not that soft, is it? It just makes up for the rough rear skid ......a bit more cushion.

204.7 MPH in a pre-production Viper...Dodge Viper that is. Oh sorry that ain't a sled.
I think my bone stock SX600R will do about 95mph... on the lake...downhill.

That's good to hear, Bob. It's starting to get cold again, so hopefully the snow will start again.
