My friend did it last season. Was going up his ramps, it started spinning the track since he had no studs, and it suddenly caught.... SMASH!
Funny it happened since he had driven his quad through it just the spring before. His dad was NOT happy about 2 rear windows in 1 year .LOL. Since then he has made bars to go in front of the windows so he cant do it again.

Idea... a winch
How about a boat winch or comealong with a loop of rope around the front shocks ? I got tired of overshooting the end of my trailer and prefer some control besides the throttle. Do others have other methods?

I don't think I would tow anything by the shocks

I made a ramp system that stays in my truck during the winter, mounted an electric winch to the front, that way i don't have to start the sled in the garage and don't have to worry about stud marks all over the concrete. it is basically a wooden platform raised up off the bed, with a pull out ramp. pretty cheap to build, don't have to worry about trailer registration, or trailer maintenance.
