its been 10 years of this #$^&^%$ poor winters . owning a sled seems to suck any more . i may have 9300 mi on my 02 vent. but its .... oh we have two weeks of riding LETS GO NUTS BEFORE ITS OVER

i know what you mean. i made it out wed. night and the trails were great still. I went out yesterday and the two tracks were good but the roads were all bare. 39* right now and rain!!!!!!!! we can just hope feb. is bad ***

Well we do live in WI... We should have more snow than this. Here in Madison, we got a whopping 6.3" of snow in all of January!! Thats not even winter in my opinion, but hopefully Feb. will bring lots of snow!
I know what you mean we have had just over 70 inches so far but that's 30 inches below what we typically see by now, hopefully we have at least 45 more days to add to the base!

I hear you and feel the exact same way you do. Sledding is my only sort/hobby/recreation. These consistent lousy winters are exactly why I will not buy a new Yamaha but prefer to keep my older sleds in top condition. I look forward to winter and sledding every year. We have to remain optimistic. Hopefully the winter snow and cold machine will turn on this month an give us at least a 6 to 8 week season. Add insult to injury, every weather person on all the local radio and TV stations rejoice when we have rain rather than snow and warmth rather than bitter cold. Bunch of wimpy a$%$$. If you want warmer weather, move to Florida. My idea of winter is snow every week from Nov 1 through April 1 with the temp. no warmer than 20 degress F for the entire period. We need a good mini-Ice Age, for let's say the next 20 years.
time to ponder ????????????? we have teenagers that dont know what a snowy winter is like . hum, when you drive you cant see over the snow banks , or you need a v plow to bust threw the roads to get them open . that was back in the days . or when you got suck , and you got OFF the sled you were stuck . oh when you shoveled off the roof you didnt need a ladder to get down .

didn't you hear the predictions for the next 10 to 20 years.There is a mini ice age,cooling down period coming..but not for us up north more.Places like Florida and Mexico will be getting snow,we will be cooking in the heat..Place that never had snow before will be getting snow and visa versa..sad days coming.
