I have a 97 SX 700 and it rides like a board. The rear suspension is insane stiff, does anybody have the factory settings? I weigh 160lbs and it doesn't drop, at all. I just purchased the sled and gave it a good checking of EVERYTHING and took it for a 126 mile ride yesterday... it beat the shit out of me. The sleds a rocket in the straights and put to shame allot of sleds yesterday but... you don't want to do anything that looks like a corner. HELP!

Cornering you want the front stiff, that is why that is an issue, if you want a cush ride, you let off on the front and back, but odd you say the back is so stiff, I have mine set to max stiffness and it handles very well in the bumps and washboard.

If you have the Ohlins up front, and you are on the trail, turn them all the way to max, then click back 5 turns, if that is not good, try 7 in total, that is where mine are at a nice intermediate spot.

Also about the corners, how are your carbides? And what skis.

I have the exact opposite of you, I have trail skis up front, handles like a dream, but put me in the powder, and I really have to lean into it on the corners just so it will turn.

I got my skis off a 2007 Crossfire 700, direct bolt on and you save form the stock steel ones about 12-14 pounds.

I purchased nice set of plastic ski's for it have to check on brand and make but they are new minus around 200miles. This is garbage right now in the wash board.
