My 94 600 is over oiling bad and the system leaks every where. Is it worth fixing, or should I gut it and start mixing? What do I need to do if I dump the system, other than plugging ports and "stuff"?
Thank you
Thank you

Most of the connections, small crack in the tank and "maby" the pump. Can't tell if the leak at the pump is at the output or the pump it self. How does one go about adjusting the pump? I don't have a book for this little bugger.

On a '94 vmax you measure the oil cable gap in millimeters,pull back the sheathing covering the joint,pull the joint apart and measure the gap("a").
Do these checks in this order;
1st- set idle to 16- 1,7000 rpm's(@ operating temp)
2nd- set throttle end play to 2mm(adjustment for that is here )
3rd- set oil pump cable free play here and here to 27(richer)to 29(leaner)mm

Thanks Daman!
Does anyone think that the weight savings of "gutting" the system is worth it? I am on a budget (putting my wife through collage) and am tryin to make this machine a little more powder-friendly. Starting to cut weight and looking at moving to a 141, 2"track. And, if the price is right, a newer skid. Any thoughts?
