Do I have to remove the whole engine or can I get away w/removing airbox and loosening engine mount bolts? And maybe sqeak a hand in there??? 00srx

I had to pull the motor but this was good time to check the crank and replace the crank seals. I had over 15,000kms on the motor so i thought is was a good idea.

You'll waste a lot of time and get very aggravated trying to remove the steering post with the engine in place. Yoiu would be a lot better off removing or at least lifting the engine up. The bolts holding the lower steering post retainer (and the top retainer also) are locked in place with tabs that are bent up to prevent the bolts from loosening. I don't see anyway to bend them down without removing the engine, you need the access.
