Can a 2004 Yamaha Viper Knock sensor be retrofit onto a 2003 or 2002 Viper?

lots more than that. sled boy (roy) did that to his 02. he'll see the post and chime in. he had to do quite a bit to retro fit it. you'd be better off selling your current sled and buying one equipped. ski
As Ski said, it's more than $1K. I had triple pipes and a bunch of other stuff so I thought it would be cheaper to retro fit DCS in my 02 Viper. But with an expertX suspension in it and the fact I sold the stock Pro action I did not want to sell my dialed in 02 Viper. Your would be way ahead selling your 02 and buying an 04 ViperS and you would get Ohlins too. Otherwise u need to buy head, speedo, wiring harness, cdi box, DCS sensor, and other misc stuff and a lot of work!
