The stock can with a two inch hole drilled up through the bottom of the outlet into the baffle. It is quieter than an aftermarket can, still sounds horney and picks up a few horse power.
If you are going to play with the exhaust system, there is only one way to go in my opinion.....
Best sound and HP.

In my opinion the bender always sounded the best. They sound like an indy car.

Sno-stuff is by far the loudest, even louder than an mbrp (I have had both). It's a sweet sound too, very aggressive. It's been my favorite but since sound laws are heavily enforced in Ontario I have resorted to the stock can.

I have the Sno Stuff on my 700 and it goes alot better then it did when it had a stock can, this is on a GPS, so it cannot be a lie. I know this is a beaten to death subject as well. Just my experiance.
I have yet to find one rider who dislikes the sound of my tripple with the sno stuff can. Plus I lost a lot of weight and gained a lot of room.
You all have to remember though, different temps etc all have a factor in the noise lvl.
As for noise laws, I can kitty it past houses at night and not make a racket, and even though if we wanted we could run straight pipes here on our trails. Just common courtousy.

Here is my sled in about +6C weather right after I put it on. Sounds a lot different now though in the cold temps.

If you afraid of cutting up your original can , I still have my original one uncut and is in near mint shape. Just in case you do not like the sound.
