Can I interchange Crankshafts on Vmax sx 98

I have a 1998 Vmax sx. I bought it right, with a bad jug. I also noticed now that I have a crankcase full of water. I am sure that the bearings are now bad on the crank.

Couple questions.
Am I correct in assuming that the crank would need all new bearings?
If so, I found a crank for a 1995 vmax 600. THe pieces all say they are the same when I looked them up on the site. Will this crank work.

I have had good luck with the 4 stroke forum with some very smart people responding. I appreciate your help in advance.

from what I'm seeing from the parts fiche there different,,some missing parts and the outer bearings look different.

stick with 98-99

Is there an online source to find parts fiche I have a 97sx600 I hate calling the dealer ship to get part numbers

i have a 1998 vmax 700 bottom end with cases with a clutch but the clutch has a chip i jus have it for aback up

if you bring up the two fiche with these cranks and pan back and forth there's a piece or two different between them plus the outer b. so dunno...
