98 SRX motor and body panels on viper chassis
I have a friend that has a 98 SRX sled with a messed up tunnel, plus the sled is pretty beat. He also has an 02 or 03 viper bulkhead / tunnel assembly. He wants to know if there is any reason he can't reattach all of his 98 SRX body panels, hood, seat, tank to the viper bulkhead/tunnel. I realized he is going to have to use the SRX chassis harness for the electrical, but he is going to pretty much everything from the SRX except the tunnel, bulkhead, front and rear suspension. Has anyone tackled this before?

I think the biggest problem will be getting the pipes to fit because of the shock mounts on the viper bulkhead.they stick up in to the motor compartment where the srx pipes would normally lay.
i have seen a srx turned into a viper

Concept Carbon has SRX pipes on his Viper. It's probobly a P.I.T.A., but it can be done.

I've got Viper shocks on my SRX with Betheviper mounts and there is plenty of room between them and the pipes... well maybe not plenty but enough for me to make covers for the top shock mount having cut the SRX bellypan.
I'm assuming (perhaps incorrectly) that the Viper bulkhead's upper shock location puts it in a similar location. Before getting the shock mounts, I read that the only other way was to go with a Viper bulkhead.
