Hey, I want to stud my track and have a few questions because i have no previous experience with studs and neither do my buddies. I run a 99 SRX, 02' Mountain Max 136" rear skid, 1 1/4" x 136" Ripsaw, with some clutching and gearing mods. I want to stud it. How many do I do? I don't want to ice race or anything, just a little more grab. How long do I do? Do I need tunnell protectors? If yes, why? Thanks

Do a search, ton of info on this topic. Not sure on the number for a 136. Lenght i run woodys 1.37 on a 1 1/4 ripsaw. You have to have the hx protectors front and back. Also the tunnel. Last thing is you will need to change to 8 tooth drivers to stud the 1 1/4. Some guys stud without the change but you have to run the track really tight. If not you will take out the hx. Your tunnel with look like a cheese grater if you dont run these protectors!!!
