Hi there just liking to no what are a good set of pipes too run on a 835 big bore srx.All cases are hogged out.Ported and polished shim plate under cylinder,s.This motor i,m going to rebuild over the summer.But looking for pipes and carb,s.

Are you planning on trail riding it, or are you going to race it? For a trail setup, run the Bender 835 pipes. If you plan on racing it, have Greg at Jaws build you a set, and get yourself a race CDI.

Thank,s i,m thinking it would be neat to run as a trail sled.Real sleeper.How about the carb,s.Should i be looking for a set of 38mm.Motor has been ported polished crankcase opened up there,s a shim plate under cylinder,s power valves been cut.It used to be a drag sled.

Get a set of 38's from a '98 or newer Mach Z. Be sure to cc those heads and calculate your compression ratio. You're going to need to be 12.5:1 or less for pump fuel on that engine.
Also, you are going to have to add cooling to that setup. The water jackets become alot smaller with those big sleeves pressed in there, so your cooling is reduced quite a bit. You will need to add heat exchangers inside the tunnel, or a radiator setup somewhere in order to try to keep it cool. If you do nothing to upgrade your cooling system, it probably won't live for long.
