Guys,
Looking for some advice here. I have an 89 exciter yard sled. Kids and I have a blast putting around the property. The track is getting very worn. I have a track that came with it. I took off all the studs on the backup track cause I sometimes tow a sled with the kids. I had the skid pulled out by my mechanic and he called me that the skid was cobbed up and unusable. When looking at it from the back and above it is like a slight j. The bottom was cracked with a plate bolted on to hold it together. And the front w arm was cracked. The coils are digging into the skid as well. The bump stops were long gone as well. I never really noticed because it was painted up nice. I wondered why the track did not touch the front of the rail on the one side. Anyone know what other skids will work in this machine? Kinda torn whether I should replace it or sell as a parts sled. I told him to give me a couple days to think about it.
Thanks for all the suggestions!
