Just picked up this Yami SL 338 oil injected dual carb sled. Would like to know the high and low jet settings and what the knob like item on the oil pump is...round (half dollar) size with arrows clockwise. Also the clutch side plug is running lean. Using B9HS Appreciate any info thanks

What brands carbs are on it? I just rebuilt the Keihin of my 73 SL and the high speed which is closest to the driver is 1 turn out counter clockwise from closed and the idle screw which is closest to the engine is 1 1/4 turn out counter clockwise from closed.

As far as your other questions go to Vintagesleds.com or Vintagesledders.com this is where I got most of my info, guys are helpfull, and lots of hard for find manual sources there.

Dual carbs? The SL came with a single carb! You're certain it's an SL? If it's a 70, look for a serial number on the chassis on the back left side. Does it match the number on the fan housing? G.

all 4 of the 1970 models came with twin keihins...only year for twin carbs on the SL models

I had no idea the 70's all had twin carbs, thanks for that. I don't how much luck a guy will have finding carb rebuild kits for those though. G.
