Kill Switch

Does anyone know if a kill switch out of an '88 Phazer will fit in a '86 Phazer? The part numbers are slightly different, 84R-82575-09 for the '88 and 82K-82575-09 for the '86. I can pick up one out of an '88 for cheap, but that's no good if it won't work.
