Riser Questions

Bought a 2 in riser off ebay. Says it fits Yamaha. Not so much. It is Powermadd PM15539. Any one know the right part number for a 98 Vmax 700SX. Company told my Friday they would Fedex me one so I would have it before my trip. Call me today and tell me it is the right one. It is 3 1/2 in center to center. (wrong one). My sled are out side and covered now so I am not sure what they are.

What you bought is a pivot style riser.Which wont work on your sled unless you also buy the pivot adapter.The adapater is $45.They should have said that or you didnt understand what you were buying ? If you need one let me know.But the adapter rises your bars another 1 1/2" so you'll need longer cables.Heres a link of the riser that you probally wanted.Its just a standard 2" riser.

Yes I did some research since then and now I see that. I dont want to replace my cables. I guess I will look for something else.

The speedo cable is simple and pretty cheap. I would go for it!
