Mega power secondary deflection adjuster ?

I have an adjuster and haven't used it in a few years. I want to reinstall it but I have a few questions. First I believe I need to cut down the aluminum spacer but I don't remember how much. Second, what about the big washer that is normally used with the stock set-up? Should I not use it with the adjuster?

Cut .350 off the spacer and no washers. Also remove the original adjusting bolts and washers from backside of clutch.
