I am stuck on how to get the cable removed, becasue it goes through the spring.
Is there a trick to getting this spring off or cable removed?
Any tips would be appreciated

If you are referring to the cable down at the caliper then loosen the lock nut and screw the outer sheeve of the brake cable adjustment all the way in to allow for maximum free play then remove cable.

yes, but the cable is inside the spring, and im wondering how you get the cable to move enough to slip out of that little slot, due to the spring being in the way. Theres plenty of slack, but the spring is very stiff.
Im thinking of modifying a shitty pair of vise grips to make a make-shift spring compressor but figured Id check in as IM sure im not the first to swear at this brake cable setup

i turn in the adjuster up at the brake lever all the way and then remove the cable from the brake handle. then i remove the mounting screw down on the caliper that holds the cable to the caliper.
you should then have enough slack to take the cable off the caliper.
