My '02 Viper is killing me on the small stuff and sends me flyiong when I hit drifts on the lake. There are lots of adjustments on this thing and I've done all the reading I can stand. Can anyone cough up some numbers to balance the ride out?
Stuff like shock spring length when the the preload is set correctly, Gaps at the controll rods, limiter strap length, etc.
I'd really don't think I should have to buy a new suspension but I will if I must.

I had the shocks revalved last season and it made a big difference. I took it over to Excel Motor Sports in Coon Rapids. Ask for Dan in service.

Do you know what type of valving they put in? Is is straight rate or progressive? Did they give you any spec's?

He actually put in new shocks valved to my rider style. I am a novice in this area, so you would be better off talking with Dan. He can tell what he did and waht Excel Motor sports does. I am not suggesting you have to use the shocks, just pointing out someone local that you can talk to. However, I would use Dan again and I am happy with the results. He rode an '02 Viper for the last two seasons and now has a Viper S so you are working with a service guy that rides the same sled.
