just got venture parts wanted to put the shroud of the venture cuz its dual bulb but the wirering isnt the same, as anyone ever tryed or got it working?
you would need to change out the complete harness and ignition system. What you can do that will be way cheaper and better lighting is buy an HID light kit to match the two bulbs They put out a few times the lumens on about the same power as 1 bulb. I use them in my cars and sled. You can get them at apexcone.com or off ebay. There is alot of crap to mount under hood to go with them but on that sled, it would be easy to hook up, two power wires and alot of plug and play and mount. YOu will want the 5000k temp bulbs, 6000 might be better but hard on others eyes.

i just put the dual bulb but i had to magyve the plugs all the wires were all the same colors but now everything is working except the rpm and gas needle wont budge, and my lights are also dimmer then before???

The lighting coil is not large enough for the two bulbs. If you are stuck on the look try running just one of the two bulbs and it should be ok. Otherwise upgrades as descibed above will be order to make it all work.

ok i got the rpm and gas gauge to work, i had 2 wires wrong. now it just the dimm lights i got all the wirering harness from the venture 2003 but the reason i did not put all that harness in was that the CDI isnt the same as for the rectifier and other lil gadgets on it , where are those lighting coils usually placed on a mountain max?? maybe i can put the ones from the 2003
