SRX cylinder differences

What are the differences in say a 98 cylinder and an 02 besides the part number and porting? If i were to install an 02 cylinder in a 99 engine with two stock 99 cylinders would there be any issues with it set up that way?

try to keep with 98-99 together or all 2000-up together port timing are not the same
