well, the MTX is lighter, and a longer track (144"), but your MM/MSRX has a hell of alot more power, stretch your MSRX to either a 144" or a 151" and stick with it, alot cheaper route than buying a low-horsepower sled.
so the higher front end of the phazer don't help in the powder

I bought a 03 700 Sx viper that has a bigger track 159 x 2 .From this guy. He had bought a phaser with the mountain track also. The viper had alot more power and handled the deep snow much better. He finally sold it because the chasis was giving him constant problems. You will get a better sled for the buck changing your old sled.

I was told the only way the phazer would comparable to my viper mountain is to put a turbo on the phazer.
