I am extending my Proaction rear to a 136 skid with the use of those extension plates. Now I right now have a 1.25 camo on it in 121, but it has had its day due to unfortunate events.

I remember reading somewhere the max i could put on a 1998 Vmax was a 1.50 track, yet I been seeing SRX's with 1.75? Now I know there is the room issue up front with the heat exchanger and not something I want to beat up. So what is the real truth here, 1.50 or 1.75? I play in a lot of powder so this is the entire reason to go to a 136 track. Not worried about speed anymore.

Thanks

well with stock drivers 1.25 is max ...if you use 8 tooth drivers you can go bigger think 2 in....but not sure

If you pull the protectors you can fit a 1.75 in the pro-action chassis with 9 tooth drivers. Done it all sorts of times. Need to go to 8's to run a 2". Since you are most likely not running studs with that height track you have no need for the protectors thus it changes nothing by removing them other than giving you the room to run a powder track.

Thanks for the info, the protectors were all removed long ago, never had a studded track on it either.

The only thing that I saw when I bought it, and this probably has nothing to do with my 1.25 track that is on it now. Is the front heat exchanger fins were bent in spots, I am guessing ice and what not since it is a 98.

Now I am just debating on whether to get the rail extentions for this skid and put on a 136, or try and find another skid and try my first skid swap ( probably will not turn out will lol.)
