Hi guys, looking to clean my powervalves, never been done before, any recommendations on the best way??

Is the 2.5 - 3.0 crtical? Why .5 variance? Is it better to be on the high side or low side of the spec or doesnt it matter?

2.5 is just a happy medium that works.
