stock viper engine runs 45 pilots and is supposed to be 1-7/8 turns out. found out i have 47.5 pilots-they were in the sled when i bought it. so my question is should i turn the air screw out to 1-3/4 to start? from what i read 45 pilots 2 turns out equalls 47.5 pilots 1-1/2 out. am i on the right track?- my sled is gurgly down low and i just rebuilt the top end (again)- Burndown determination is the thread- so i want it to be right before i start her up.

Do a low speed run 7-800 feet kill the motor and pull the plugs, maybe you can go back to the stock 45s

it seems that 1/2 turn = 1 pilot jet size.
