you have the guts to do this?

i honestly have to say i would do that.. ive attempted it on a dirt bike already lol! and it worked great but not that lenght haha..

:)

looks a bit nuts, I wouldn't care if it was my bike, a bit of water never hurt a quad as long as its cleaned out properly, I dunno what damage hitting the water hard would be though at those speeds if you wipe out, problem is that my quad is a king-quad 300, a 91 4x4, so its not exactly "newer" or does it have the power to even go that fast, although it is submersible....

id dot it... but wouldnt be on something that I can completely sink my bike in... something thats a few feet deep.... unless i know i can do it... lol... ive done it a few times... had some bad runs... n ive had some good ones lol

but would want something with a crap load of top end.... my kfx470 is moded to the tits... but its top end ent the greats....

I think thats one of the guys I talk with over on the ModdedRaptor forum, its actually a pretty deep pond in an old quarry... many of us over there have talked about doing it, more are afraid to do it though, haha... I know the money I have into my Raptor and I wouldnt do it, I'll stick to the track and woods... ;)!

wnyviper... with ya on that one... got way to much cash into my kfx to attempt to do something with the possibility of sinking it lol... n by kfx its a 400... moded to a 470...stroked n the whole chabang...ruining the engine would make me cry as i just rebuilt it ill def be with ya and stick to the track and woods lol... though water skipping sure as hell looks cool lol...

I crossed water accidentaly on my Banshee in 1989. We were running the ice all day without any problems. Went back out at night, we did not know the dam was no open, running wot by the inlet area. I thought I crossed bare ice, but when we went back to investigate, it was open water. Too close of a call. It looked like it was between 75 to 100 feet of open water. From that point on, we never ran by the inlet. still don't Al

Seen this video on another forum too. I'd try it on someone else's ATV, at least once!!

Hell yeah:)

I would try it several times on someone else's quad.

Looks like he had some good paddle tires on back.

From two weekends ago: A little easier on a sled!
