I just had a new track put on my 2000 SRX. Initially the speedometer worked right away in the shop. As we tightened the track and alinged it.
Although I noticed as soon as I hit the trail that the speedometer wasn't reading anything. Any Ideas??

check the key behind the bearing cover underneath the secondary.

Do I need to pull the secondary clutch off in order to check this or can I just leave it on? Just pulled sled in the garage so I'm letting the snow melt off then I'll take a look.

taking the secondary off takes about a minute in total so I would.
