Anyone ever gone sledding to the mountains with Smart Carb? If so did you change any carb settings with Jets, etc. or did you just let the Carb make the altitude settings itself and how was it? I hear nothing but bad things about these carbs, but I have 6000kms on them and never had a problem yet, but never had tested them in the mountains.

i have a 98 MM600 and it has worked great since day one. Let the carbs do their thing.
I have run my sled from 2500-8000', temps of -25C to +15C and have never touched the carbs. I know you can fine tune the regular carbs to run on that fine line, but my setup has always worked for me. I love riding all day without lifting the hood.
