Hey guys, I am working on my SRX piped Viper, trying to get it going for this weekend, I bent one of the needles in the Viper carbs and wont get another needle till next week (darn dealers dont stock anything around here)... I have my 98 SRX sitting next to the Viper with a blown motor so I was thinking of swapping out the carb needles from the SRX to the Viper till I get the right needle. They are different part numbers, I know, thats why I want to swap all 3... whats the chances of this working out for me? The SRX needles should be "fatter" than the Viper ones, right? Current recommended setup for the SRX from my engine builder is 150 or 152 mains and 45 pilots (i have 152's in now), vented to bellypan, sled is 02 Viper with SRX pipes and ported Viper cylinders, technically I should be running plenty fat if the SRX needles will work in my carbs...
so basically, should I be worried about anything with the SRX needles in the Viper carbs?
