what is the weight of a stock hood for srx. empty with nothing on it. no metal or hinges.

ok just weighed hood with vents,hinges,air duct for brake,and the foam ....it weighed 16 pounds

thanks they are heavy with all of that metal. stuff. i am building a ice racer and want to lighten it up.
