Do you think a studded track can cool the machine better than a non studded track? I beleive it can on hard pack, loose and powder, no difference. But I was following my son's Viper which is not studded, 1.25 ripsaw, on on hard pack vertually no snow being brought up to coolers, but when I followed another SXR with 144 studs 1" ripsaw I on same area, I saw alot of snow being exchanged and up to coolers. This is meant soley o add confussion LOL Went to the up with Viper Dave
His sled has a 1.5 crossover unstudded
Mine a 1.25 pred studded
He threw more snow and dust than I did
And got better hook up for conditions
So like I said just to add more confussion to the mix
Snow type and conditions and temp may change this equation everyday out

Yes, I agree, snow conditions are a wide variable. Al
