Putting on some electric starts. I have eveything i need. Just wondering if you can buy the plastic ends that clip together (dont know what to call them)? I can just cut the end from the sled off and hard wire, but i would rather use the clip things. Where can you get them if they sell them seperate. I see no part # for them from yamaha. I need the female ends.

How many do you need? I might have some extras. I got them from a Mercruiser marine dealer. I think I have the part numbers written down somewhere.

If you're talking about the plastic hardshell that the wire terminals are housed, you can typically remove them from the harness. Most either have a seperate locking piece that once removed allows access to the "fingers" that lock the terminal into the hardshell. Or if you look at the opened end of the connector, you should see a tab or finger that locks into terminal that needs to be spread away from the terminal to unlock the wire/terminal from the connector. What specific hardshell connector are you wanting to swap/replace?

Need the female end for a 96xt for the electric start relay. The sled end is a white square 4 prong coupler with the red - black - and red/white wire in it. I can always buy new all the way around for the e start i just wanted to keep thinks looking OEM. Plus if i ever have to unhook it for any reason it would be easy. My used kit did not come with that coulpler. they just cut the wires. I also need the relay end for my 02 viper. Same problem, they just cut wires on starter side. If i cant find OEM ill try a autoparts store and come up with my own.
