Recently checked a sled of mine that I clutched 9 years ago, rpms went up 50 (used digitron gauge not stock tach) never had the cover off the clutch the entire time except for cleaning.

On the trail - should be good..my 99 Phazer still has the same sets...
If anything shift rpm will come down as well an engagement..in most setups I've seen.....that might be a good thing...

i have changed my primary but only to try to eliminate varibles to problems, never had one go bad.secondary has over 15000 miles on it ..still seems strong.

IMO, only need to change primary spring when the max rpms are down from what they normally were in previous years.
