transfer rod adjustment

Hey fellas....I have adjustable transfer rods but I dont know which way i should turn the center nut. I want better weight transfer because my launch seems a lil weak. should the nut be turned up towards the skid or down for better hole shot. (should the threads be showing or not) thanks

i found that with my rods the farther i turned the nut up towards the seat or tunnel the better launch i got.
