Just wondering, where is the stator located on my SRX and is it easy access to clean it ?
It's hiding behind the recoil/starter. You will need a good puller to access it.
Ok, so is it hard to access ? Whats a puller, is it the thing that removes the flywheel ?

Yes
I use a damper puller that I had for pulling the dampers off of 350 engines.you can get these fairly cheap at an auto supply store. Make sure you get the correct metric bolts that fit into the damper. Don't screw them i too deep or you will need a new stator.

Just wondering why you are cleaning the stator?
Because the rpm is not working anymore and the lights sometimes blinks, goes in and out, if you know what I mean. I check the cables but didn't find anything. The previous owner did mentionned that he cleaned the stator from time to time just so its not acting-up on him....
Thing is that the engine is perfect, not hesitation nothing, very reliable sled so far except for this minor issue. Maybe I'll just ride it like that and wait till I got no more light
