electric start install ????? What did you do???

This is a post on why you need to wait for the lock tight to dry right. You must let it sit in the house for 24 to let it cure correct. I let mine sit. My big problem which you might be able to help me out with is where the heck is the plug in from the main start switch to plug the relay into from the starter. cant find mine. Is it hiding behind the air box??

The plug you are looking for is behind the right pannel above the foot well . Also when you hook up your fuse block you have to unplug the light wire harness and plug one side into the upper conector and the other side into the lower one . Everything is in the same area . Hope this helps .

NO , not the Red stuff.
You want to use Loctite 648, It Is Green, it is a High Strength retaining compound used specifically for you application. and is rated for constant temps of 300 degrees F,for long periods of time, I.E. your clutches when you are riding stay vary warm.
Also ,Full cure time is 24 hours @77 Degrees F.
If you don't have any, try one of the local auto parts stores, they usually have a variety of small bottles of different brands and formulas that are compatible to your application. and you could order on line if you wanted,
I would not use red, you might have problems later. ..... MY2cents

Yea I don't think they make 648 anymore and looked all last night called many different stores. I did find 2 different kind from permatex that is green. What to to what to do....
 
I used the Permatex brand, (Green) for my primary clutch (back sheave) it worked fine,(no problems ) it had the same properties as the loctite 648.
