Looking for recommendation on pilot mixture screw adjustment on my 700 SRX. Sled runs awesome, it just doesnt sound peppy on idle 18-1900 RPM (flat) or does doesnt have that Pop Pop Pop until about 25-3000 RPM, then pipey. I know the spec is 1 1/8 turns out I thought it was rich so pulled carbs and set at 7/8 not much change. I was thinking of going to 1 1/2 turns out? Kind of a pain to not be able to adjust while sled is running.
Any tips or thoughts?
Thanks

I would make sure the carburetors are clean and the floats are adjusted correctly. I had a similar problem with my 600sx. Turned out the floats were way out of adjustment so the fuel level in the bowl wasn't high enough to reach the pilot jet completely. Where are the clips on your needles set at? When it's running like that, try blipping the choke and see if it gets better or worse.

try 1-1/4 to 1-1/2 turns out then.
i would go right to 1-3/8 at least.
