srx water pump elbow help????

ok so i have a2001 srx the water pump housing has a elbow this fitting came out and lost all coolant i bought the new housing along with the small elbow how is this installed and sealed by pressing , maybe freezing the elbow and heating housing idk.. please help with any info..

ok so the old housing i am able to take the elbow in and out freely but nothing looks broken i noticed there was jb weld around the fitting once i found it in the bellypan im still not sure how the owner befor me got this fitting out im a little confused with this .. and have a new f8 to put in its place asap due to the running mouth of its owner calling my 01 vintage 700 !!!
