need help quick re vmax600

springs

trying to figure out the primary and 2ndary springs for the v-max600
There are 4 different sections on the v-max in the tech section.What we have now is the g-p-g primary spring and red secondary spring.It says in tech section that wrap is either 40 or 80 depending on sled model.What is the difference between the 4 models

VX600V---> G-P-G primary and Green 2ndary at 40 wrap
VX600EV--> G-P-G primary and Green 2ndary at 40 wrap
VX600STV--> 0-P-0 primary and Red 2ndary at 80 wrap
VX600DXV--> 0-P-0 primary and Red 2ndary at 80 wrap

How are we to know which model our vmax is???Sounds like we should have wrap at 40,but I am sure the spring in there is a RED one.Got to figure this out..even though the sled runs quick as is.Isn't 40 wrap way to loose???

Funny you should bring up the question, "which sled is my model?" I have wondered this myself. My primary has 8CA-01 weights, 14.5mm rollers and a O-P-O spring. My secondary has a green spring with a 40* wrap. The funny thing is that this setup is not even a possible combination in any articles for specs I've seen. My sled is a bare bones 600, no e-start or reverse.

how does the green at 40 feel.I know the red at 80 kicks butt here..great launcher.
Yep the setup works well too, could be a hair quicker on the backshift but my buttons are pretty worn. It accelerates like mad though.
