Well this thing is gonna send me to the nut house!
I went against my own beliefs and started throwing parts at no start issue.But in my own defense I though I had it diagnosed.
I have replaced the stator w/ pick up coil then the cdi box with known good used parts.
What is the best way to test these 2 items?
The ignition coil is good, no breaks in the wire harness, I thought for sure that the kill switch & ignition switch tested good with the ohm meter but I may not be 100% correct that it was tested correctly.
How do I bypass these to rule them out?
Is that a voltage regulator mounted to the left foot rest? whats the best way to test that?

My buddy ron is going trough the same thing on his 91 exciter. Not sure on all the testing as he's been working on it by himself. I do know from what i was tolt to unhook the black/white wire from the CDI. Its a bullet connection. This removes all the spark killing parts from the line. Kill switch, torrs. Worth a try. Let us know what you figure out and ill do the same as he works his way through the system.
