Would any seat from a pro action fit on a 2000 Vmax 500? The seat on this sled is not that great. Thinking of finding a Viper seat. Would that fit? I would try mine but its slightly altered to fit my homemade riser setup.
Any seat from a Proaction chassis will fit. I change my 2 up seat on my 2001 Venture to a seat from a 98 SX when my son rides it. I wouldn't use a Viper seat. I have one from my 02, and used the SX seat until I bought the Boss that's on the Viper now. A Viper seat is VERY stiff once compressed. Yamaha innstalled a foam block in an attempt to cut weight. It also won't have the flap that covers the gap between the tank and the seat.
